About The Dupuytren Foundation

Dupuytren's Disease is a benign condition which affects millions of Americans resulting in progressive and sometimes crippling hand deformities. There is currently no cure.

People dealing with Dupuytren's contracture need two things: first, the simplest, safest way to straighten fingers bent by Dupuytren's; second, an effective treatment to stop the contractures from progressing in the first place or from recurring after having been straightened. There are new options for the first issue, but biologic treatments to prevent contractures are still desperately needed.

The Dupuytren Foundation has a simple mission statement: to promote research, education and global collaboration to find a cure for Dupuytren's disease.
